This was the cheapest route as they had multiple different options with more bells and whistles but was not interested and did not feel pressured to be upsold. Very clean and took pride in his work!! Vines responded to an emergency call when a pipe to an outdoor spigot burst today. We were also unable to shut off our water source!!! Their technician, Dave, responded in a timely manner and was able to take care of everything!

We are concerned that the hot water heater was not responsive when we turned on the tap. Zakk thought it might be the heater. Recommended replacing the hot water heater. Install on 6 April.

Nick Ryan came to fix my toilet today! He was very cordial and considerate of my home and honest person when it came to what could be offered to remedy my problem. He was so kind to do that so that you for an outstanding job. Both techs were great!!

In over 40 years of homeownership and the related maintenance issues, I’ve never before worked with a company which did EVERYTHING RIGHT as I experienced the replacement of our total HVAC system by a Vines team. Prices quoted were much better than I anticipated, and I received an acceptable quote on the system in hours, not days. Dylan was great to work with on the quote. He sped up getting our system installed when I explained that we needed to have it ready in time for my wife’s return home from a hospitalization: I signed the contract on a Friday, and the replacement technicians were at my door at 8:15 Monday morning with all equipment needed for the job. Vines sent me an advance text when they were on the way with a photo and bio of Alex, the team leader. They went right to work and what a team they were! Dismantled and removed the old compressor and air exchange unit, installed all the new equipment including a new WiFi thermostat controllable from my iPhone. Cleaned up thoroughly, removed all the packaging and junked equipment. Friendly, experienced and professional all the way. With the July discount and the cash discount, the cost came in much better than I expected. Totally positive experience in every way! Oh! And they did the whole job in less than eight hours! Amazing in every way!

As most sewer line issues are, ours was a complex problem today. Joey and Aaron arrived on the scene and very quickly discovered the root of the problem. In short order, Joey had a plan in place and had us scheduled for correction. He is an extremely courteous fellow and knows this business, giving me extra confidence and comfort. He was great! The plumber James was polite, explained how the HVAC sensors and system worked, helped us get the app up and running so we could adjust the settings remotely, and let us know the proper settings and service intervals.

Ruben is simply fantastic! He’s very knowledgeable, kind and always has a smile on his face. Today, he came to help inspect my elderly parents home and made sure to answer all of their questions. We have use Vines Plumbing over the years for a variety of things from a new hot water heater, installing new toilets and dishwasher and most recently to install two new faucets and a shower. Before they started the work they inspected the water connections under all the sinks. They found some issues that needed to be addressed. They could hardly turn off the water valve as it was so corroded. They also found the intake pipes were corroded. Since our condo is 20 years old and after seeing the condition of the valves and pipes, we decided to have everything replaced. It really was problem waiting to happen. However, there was NO pressure from them to do so. They did a great job as always. Cleaned up everything and checked to make sure there were no leaks. They were here 5 hours and never took a break.

Vines installed a new hot water heater. Every job is unique and as such there were minor issues which Vines was diligent about fixing. I feel good about calling them back if I have any plumbing issues in the future. Zakk was our technician, he was professional and did a great job.

We originally contacted Vines looking for a quote for a tankless water heater. Nick Ryan was the technician who came out and he was awesome! He checked our current hot water heater, noting the expansion tank wasn’t working which I why our hot water was so limited. We discussed electric tankless, gas (propane) tankless, fixing our current hot water heater, and the Essency water tank. Nick answered all our questions, and was happy to go into detail explaining our options. He was knowledgeable, detailed, and overall a very personable and friendly guy! Ultimately we decided on the Essency water tank and could not be happier! This thing is amazing! Installation went smoothly and quickly, and the Essency is a great looking unit…. We love that we can control it through an app to change temperature or boost it if we have guests in town and need more hot water. We were super impressed with Vines and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! Big thanks to Nick for being an expert technician who is super knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with.

We wanted to take the time to commend Vines for the superior service we have recently received. Our daughter and her room mates have experienced extreme health issues since living in their current apartment and we are 13 hours away and really needed to identify if there was possibly any mold contributing to the unusual symptoms. From the moment I reached out to Vines the staff was kind and expedient in helping us get someone out to test the rooms in their place immediately and they handled my panicked calls with patience and professionalism. The most professional of all was the specialist they sent out to inspect the space, Mark Mc Mullan. Mark was so concerned for the girls that he spent time on the phone with me walking me through the process, calming our worries, educating us on the proper procedures and what he could not attend to at that juncture put us in touch with an environmentalist that could help us find quick resources to make sure the girl's health and safety could be addressed, it was if they had their own family there helping when we could not be there. He put our minds at ease, was very compassionate, and showed something lacking in today's business environment humanity and a humble demeanor. He calmed our panic, gave us proper procedures his company follows in order to address the mold with the apartment complex in a way in which gives each party evolved equitable steps to do the mold check properly. Mark would not accept anything for the extra time he took to help get us resources and we are grateful for all of the extra effort to assure the mold can be addressed so the girls can be healthy again. Theh taught me how to turn my water off should another emergency happen. Water was shooting out of the pipe in my bathroom faucet! No turn off valve anywhere. Filled up 2 of the drawers showed me how to remove them. I will never have to crawl in my crawl space again!!! It means more to me then you will ever know. I knew every inch of my home in Wisconsin could fix most things cause I was my general contractor and knew it inside and out. Climbed my roof that was a 12 12 pitch to installing cabinets drywall. After calling Vines to a sudden sewer backup in all possible places loud and rapidly with force- they responded immediately. The sewer had quit running backwards by the time they arrived- water was on the floor, in tubs, shower, sinks, kitchen sink, etc. thankfully they arrived quickly and showed they would take care of the problem. Those two guys showed me compassion for te difficulty and assured me they would take care of it. I commend Zakk and his partner. They know the plumbing business and are an asset to Vines.

Toilet repair/replace, plumbing repair, water heater replaced, ceiling stained from roof leak, floor damage from water leak, restoration from small stove fire. I had a thermostat issue that cut my heat off during one of the last couple days in South Carolina. Vines heating was able to get me an appointment that same day. I had locked myself out of my thermostat, not knowing how to get back in, and Sean came in and knew exactly what to do. We figured out the issue was indeed the thermostat. Even Though they knew I needed a new thermostat they went ahead and did a thorough visual and check on my furnace anyway. Shawn was able to get me a new thermostat and he installed it for me and helped me program it and help me to understand it before he left. His amazing experience and knowledge let me know that I made the right move by hiring vines to come out for my furnace service repair. I highly recommend vines for any kind of Furnace or air conditioning service or repair.

Ultimately we decided on the Essency water tank and could not be happier! This thing is amazing! Installation went smoothly and quickly, and the Essency is a great looking unit…. We love that we can control it through an app to change temperature or boost it if we have guests in town and need more hot water. We were super impressed with Vines and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! Big thanks to Nick for being an expert technician who is super knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Ruben Aguirre was our technician. He came at 9:00 pm to fix our plumbing in our camper while we were at a campsite. We had a horrible leak and was causing flooding in our living room. Ruben came at 9 and completely fixed all of our issues. Ruben was extremely kind to my finance daughter and myself. His hard work as well as courtesy especially so late at night was amazing. Definitely highly recommend Ruben as the best technician!

Had no gas getting to gas grill, somehow water got in the gas line. David cleared the line and got things working again quickly and we approved an estimate for a pressure test to validate no leak in the gas line, schedule TBD at this time. Very nice employee, hope to see him again. Total price will vary dependent on results of pressure test.

The service was excellent. Had an emergency situation where I had to shut off main water line. Vines had someone out within 2 hours. The service was great. He explained everything that need to be done and gave estimated cost before any repairs were done.

My HVAC needs to be replaced. Vines is the only company I could find willing to work with my insurance. Jonathan and Dylan went above and beyond to communicate with the insurance people. I am impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, respect and patience working with me. Update: 3/9/2026. After 15 grueling days of dealing with Choice Home Warranty my claim was finally approved. This would never have been accomplished without the persistence and assistance of everyone at VINES. Today Austin and CJ completed the installation ( in less than 5 hours) even with me bothering them for the steady barrage of additional information requested from the insurance claims department. I look forward to many years of improved heat and air conditioning quality and efficiency of my new unit.

He even came back to go over everything again after we researched his suggestions. How could we not switch to Vines, a family owned company that really cares about customers first. Vines did an excellent job helping us to locate and fix a water leak issue at our house. They were proactive with confirming appointment times and gave plenty of notice when technicians were on the way. Their communication with us was excellent. They went over all the options with us and answered all of our questions. When deciding whether to only fix the repair or to re pipe the entire home, the technicians were very patient. They did as little demolition as possible until they could determine if re piping or a repair was the best option. The technicians gave me the time and space I needed to make a decision. When the job was done, the home was left extremely clean. I am very impressed with the customer service and the professionalism of all the technicians that came to our home.

The team at Vines is amazing. My 90 year old father had a major water leak and I live 700 miles away by the time I arrived they had everything under control. Professional, kind and capable. I can’t say enough good things about them. Shawn and Josh were great! Joey also…everyone we have encountered has been so helpful and again kind-means a lot when you are dealing with someone that is 90!

The service technician, Landon came out to install a programmable thermostat for me. I am not tech savvy, but he, and Jonathan were very patient and showed me many times how to change the program when necessary. I told them I still wasn't comfortable doing it on my own, but they assured me that I could call them any time to help walk me through the process. I would highly recommend these gentlemen.
