The instillation of our Halo water purification system in our condo in Myrtle beach was in the capable hands of Keith Valley. The job went smoothly but a catastrophe happened when Vines went to empty the tub. All the water poured out of the wall in the floor below in the kitchen. Here, the cast iron waste pipe gave out. Vines restoration company came out to the rescue and ameliorated the damage. Thank you Keith and the Restoration team captained by Darren Knapper.

Saturday morning we had a water intrusion impacting a bathroom, two bedrooms, three closets & a hallway. I immediately shut the water off at the curb four hours before we had to leave for our (last) flight to Latrobe Pa. I made my first call to Vines from there at 10:30 Monday morning. The next day, at 8:00 AM Tuesday three vans arrived at our home at the Southwood residence in Myrtle Beach with five technicians coming into our home & we were not there! By 4 PM that day, after much work safely moving furniture & personal belongings the cause of the water leak was found & repaired. We drove back down (Spirit was done) that same day & were greeted by Mark, Shawn, Josh, Joey & Jake. Seeing the interior of our home at that part of the process with walls cut away was very hard but these gentlemen immediately provided the expertise & confidence in their work to answer all of our questions & calm our anxieties! We are far from completion but we feel confident that we made the right call! We called VINES! We also credit Jenna, who answered our first call, with being compassionate while calming us through our very stressful time!

Joe and James came to do maintenance on my plumbing and HVAC systems. I enjoyed talking to them a lot. They showed me different things about my systems that I did not know. And some plumbing work also. 10/29/2025 Landon did an excellent routine maintenance for the beautiful HVAC system that Vines installed 6 months ago. This HVAC System Rocks! Landon knows HVAC like the back of his hand and explains how the work for women like me. Can answer any questions, in a simple understandable format. It is great to work with Landon and others who make maintenance enjoyable again. I never worry after Vines fixes something, and Landon is one of your best! Update-4/30/2026 Landon came out to help me reset two Ecco Thermostats (downstairs and upstairs thermostat). He knows anll about phone apps tech to set up apps and get them running again. Just a few minutes of verifying the email and resetting a password and my two thermostats were back on line with my HVAC system. The new HVAC came in last year, I loved it from the first week and a year later I love it even more. Landon also explained a few more things to me about the water filtration system I had installed last spring. This guy understands and explains equipment in an easy to understand manner. I will have Vines take care of my next plumbing project gladly. Update April 28, 2026 Bob was here on Tuesday to do the yearly maintenance on my HVAC system. He checked all of the heating and cooling equipment in the attic, sent me a list of everything he checked with pictures and explained why the system is doing well at 1 year old.He examined everything on that attic machine. Then he went to the outside machine, did all kinds of maintenance and cleaning and testing plus explained all that to me. I love this HVAC system even more than I did a year ago. It got me through a hot summer and a very cold winter. Bob will always be welcome to work on my HVAC, he could answer whatever w questions I had. Update 4/28/2026 Larry and Dave are the two guys who checked my plumbing for the yearly inspection. They checked everything faucet for water pressure and no dripping. Checked all my pipes for under the bathroom sinks Checked the water temp and and in the garage checked the hot water tank. They also drained and flushed the hot water tank and also checked the Halo whole house water filtration system . They were there along with HVAC Bob and examined everything, no problems found. They will answer any questions you have. They are also welcome to come back and take care of my plumbing and HVAC. Well writing down everything the three men did on 4/28 and the app re upped on my phone for the thermostats on 4/30 is making me exhausted. Vines people know how to install and fix and upgrade, and I even love my Moen Leak shut off device that was installed. That’s a whole entry Vines upgrade that I love. Vines has never let me down. Their technicians are excellent at determining the problems and following through with the repairs to make sure all is working properly. On this visit the technician Kelly and Greg had to do much more than what was initially planned. Yet they carried on with patience and persevered until everything was properly fixed. Everyone who I have had contact with at Vines has been so helpful and kind, not just the technicians but the office people like Jennifer.

Vine's H&A is one of the best companies out there today - I can recommend them wholeheartedly! Peter came to repair/replace a cartridge behind the handle assembly of the shower in my main bathroom. He was dressed professionally, clean and neat. He was always respectful and polite when talking/discussing with me. He never seemed to get upset when things didn't go exactly as he wanted/expected - he persevered and figured things out! Very knowledgeable about what to do. Left the work area impeccably clean when he was finished! Everyone from Vines has been helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive working with me throughout a stressful emergency hot water heater fail and subsequent flooding. Kelly Hickman and his shadow/intern Matthew, replaced the water heater and were professional, respectful and polite. Kelly took the time to explain everything to me and he got our water back on quickly. That was very important as I am the sole caretaker for my disabled sister. Clean hot water is essential for her care. Brenden and Matt started removing ruined flooring while the plumbing work was in progress. They were patient and efficient and answered my many questions. Mark McMullan went out of his way to help me navigate through this stressful process and answered all my questions and even enlightened me about steps I didn’t know to ask about. These folks have helped make this unpleasant situation a little easier. Thank you Vines!

2/6/26 Jody Vines determined where pipes had burst & made required repairs and insulated new pipes. He determined there was a small hole in the skirting that allowed the wind to blow into the crawl space. He made a temporary patch to cover the hole. He recommended the water to be cut off at the meter when house is not occupied. Great customer service! 2/2/26 my neighbor heard water running at my house when she took her dog out around midnight. Snow on the ground and extreme cold. I called Vines for emergency service. Jody Vines was dispatched and turned off the water at the meter around 2am. He advised that most likely a pipe had burst under the house in the crawl space. I don’t live there. I live in Atlanta area. A friend will go there to check the interior. I will call Vines to schedule repair & insulate all plumbing in crawl space. Thankfully, I have a plumbing & HVAC service contract with Vnes. They always provide prompt and expert service. Hunter Vines came out to assess problem right away when I called for emergency after hours service 8/19/23 (1am). The water authority had turned off the water at the meter. Hunter turned the water on & found the leaking hose was the problem. The appliance is 17 years old so I decided to have it replaced even though only the hose was defective. Hunter & Andrew picked up new appliance & all components, removed the old appliance, installed new appliance with catch pan, plumbed & wired & turned water back on 8/19 by 5:30 pm. New appliance was installed in a temporary location until water damage restoration is complete but will place in designed area after restoration. They also hauled off the old appliance and components. Superb service! I was referred by my insurance agent, Greg Drennan, SC Farm Bureau, who is friends & networks with Rick Vines.

James Russel performed an air conditioning unit. He initially diagnosed issue and performed the followed up repair. James provided a detail description about the problem, researched possible causes prior to his arrival and offered recommendations upon his arrival for the repair. He’s explained in detail what other causes may have contributed to the problem. During the repair service James and his assistant identified other contributing factors and replaced those items as well. The service they provided was outstanding and of great quality. James took the time and effort to ensure the problem was resolved before leaving. I greatly appreciate the effort and professionalism that was displayed during the service.

Hired the Vines team to replace my HVAC system and install 2 mini split systems. I am beyond pleased with all aspects of this transaction. Once again, they explained the complete installation process to me and gave me options, where applicable, so my system would be custom tailored to me. They were on time, courteous, and very clean. WE were fortunate to get team Vines Sean and Keith both! While it was a minor problem with our outdoor a/c…. It was major to us! House set at 75 and our indoor was reading 83. Quickly solved! But I started to query Keith …. Thinking of the age of the system…and he not only climbed a time or two into our hot attic… he outlined our potential options when “the time comes” and we really appreciated his advice along with the pros and cons of each potential replacement. Sean was Johnny on the spot checking this and that…came to find out the outside unit was unplugged! Who knew??? Both gentlemen were friendly and professional! I’d have them back anytime!

Great semi-annual HVAC maintenance today that's part of the Vines service plan. The technician Landon was very knowledgeable and thorough, inspecting and cleaning the indoor and outdoor units. This was the cheapest route as they had multiple different options with more bells and whistles but was not interested and did not feel pressured to be upsold. Very clean and took pride in his work!! Vines responded to an emergency call when a pipe to an outdoor spigot burst today. We were also unable to shut off our water source!!! Their technician, Dave, responded in a timely manner and was able to take care of everything!

We are concerned that the hot water heater was not responsive when we turned on the tap. Zakk thought it might be the heater. Recommended replacing the hot water heater. Install on 6 April.

Nick Ryan came to fix my toilet today! He was very cordial and considerate of my home and honest person when it came to what could be offered to remedy my problem. Vines was asked to investigate a water leak of unknown source. It required that they be in two apartments at the same time. They did a diagnostic that did not necessitate opening walls. The technician spoke with me at length to discuss their findings and recommendations.

In over 40 years of homeownership and the related maintenance issues, I’ve never before worked with a company which did EVERYTHING RIGHT as I experienced the replacement of our total HVAC system by a Vines team. Prices quoted were much better than I anticipated, and I received an acceptable quote on the system in hours, not days. Dylan was great to work with on the quote. He sped up getting our system installed when I explained that we needed to have it ready in time for my wife’s return home from a hospitalization: I signed the contract on a Friday, and the replacement technicians were at my door at 8:15 Monday morning with all equipment needed for the job. Vines sent me an advance text when they were on the way with a photo and bio of Alex, the team leader. They went right to work and what a team they were! Dismantled and removed the old compressor and air exchange unit, installed all the new equipment including a new WiFi thermostat controllable from my iPhone. Cleaned up thoroughly, removed all the packaging and junked equipment. Friendly, experienced and professional all the way. With the July discount and the cash discount, the cost came in much better than I expected. Totally positive experience in every way! Oh! And they did the whole job in less than eight hours! As most sewer line issues are, ours was a complex problem today. Joey and Aaron arrived on the scene and very quickly discovered the root of the problem. In short order, Joey had a plan in place and had us scheduled for correction. He is an extremely courteous fellow and knows this business, giving me extra confidence and comfort. We have use Vines Plumbing over the years for a variety of things from a new hot water heater, installing new toilets and dishwasher and most recently to install two new faucets and a shower. Before they started the work they inspected the water connections under all the sinks. They found some issues that needed to be addressed. They could hardly turn off the water valve as it was so corroded. They also found the intake pipes were corroded. Since our condo is 20 years old and after seeing the condition of the valves and pipes, we decided to have everything replaced. It really was problem waiting to happen. However, there was NO pressure from them to do so. They did a great job as always. Cleaned up everything and checked to make sure there were no leaks. They were here 5 hours and never took a break.

Vines installed a new hot water heater. Every job is unique and as such there were minor issues which Vines was diligent about fixing. I feel good about calling them back if I have any plumbing issues in the future. Zakk was our technician, he was professional and did a great job.

We originally contacted Vines looking for a quote for a tankless water heater. Nick Ryan was the technician who came out and he was awesome! He checked our current hot water heater, noting the expansion tank wasn’t working which I why our hot water was so limited. We discussed electric tankless, gas (propane) tankless, fixing our current hot water heater, and the Essency water tank. Nick answered all our questions, and was happy to go into detail explaining our options. He was knowledgeable, detailed, and overall a very personable and friendly guy! Ultimately we decided on the Essency water tank and could not be happier! This thing is amazing! Installation went smoothly and quickly, and the Essency is a great looking unit…. We love that we can control it through an app to change temperature or boost it if we have guests in town and need more hot water. We were super impressed with Vines and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! Big thanks to Nick for being an expert technician who is super knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with.
