Our Way of Saying Thank You to the Grand Strand

The Season of Giving is our way of saying thank you to the community that's supported us for more than 60 years. Somewhere in Horry, Georgetown, or Brunswick County, a homeowner is getting by with a system that barely works, or no heat at all. We want to help them start the new year comfortable.

How It Works

You nominate
Fill out the nomination form and tell us about the homeowner and why they deserve a new system. You can nominate a friend, a family member, a neighbor, or yourself. Nominations close on December 6.

We review nominations
Our team reads every nomination and keeps all information confidential unless the nominee is selected and agrees to share their story.

We deliver
We'll contact the selected recipient on December 13 and have their new system installed by December 20, just in time for the holidays.

Who Can Be Nominated?

To be eligible, the person you nominate must:

Own the home they live in

(renters aren't eligible)

Live in that home as their primary residence

Live within the area that Vines serves

What the Recipient Receives

The selected homeowner will receive one complete AC and heating system, professionally installed by the Vines team at no cost.

What's Included

  • Connection to the home's existing ductwork and electrical
  • A new thermostat
  • All permits and installation costs covered
  • One tune-up within the first year
  • 1-year labor warranty from Vines
  • Manufacturer's parts warranty, per the manufacturer's terms and conditions

During selection, our team will make sure the home is a good fit for a standard installation so the new system can be installed and working in time for the holidays.

Prize: The recipient will receive one complete AC and heating system installed by Vines at no cost, including:

  • Connection to existing ductwork and electrical
  • A new thermostat
  • Permits and installation
  • One tune-up within the first year after installation
  • A 1-year Vines labor warranty
  • The manufacturer's parts warranty, per the manufacturer's terms and conditions

The home must be suitable for a standard HVAC installation, as determined by Vines during the selection process. Work beyond a standard installation, such as ductwork replacement or electrical panel upgrades, is not included. Installation will be completed by December 20, 2026, subject to the recipient's availability. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.

Nominate Someone

Season of Giving Terms

Eligibility
The nominee must own the home and live in it as their primary residence. The home must be located in the Vines service area in Horry, Georgetown, or Brunswick County, as listed on this page.
Who can't participate
Vines employees and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to be nominated.
Self-nominations
Self-nominations are welcome and are considered the same as nominations submitted by others.
Nomination period
Nominations are accepted from October 26, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET through December 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Late nominations will not be considered.
Selection
The Vines team will select one recipient on or about December 13, 2026, based on the nomination and the nominee's need. All decisions are final. The selected recipient must confirm eligibility, including homeownership, before installation.
Prize
The recipient will receive a complete AC & heating system with installation by Vines at no cost, with installation completed by December 20, 2026 (subject to the recipient's availability). The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Full prize details to come.
Media consent
By accepting the prize, the recipient agrees that Vines may share their name, story, and photos or video of their home and the installation in a press release, on social media, and in local news coverage.

Information submitted is used only to review nominations and contact the nominator and nominee. See our Privacy Policy.
Vines reserves the right to modify or cancel the Season of Giving if circumstances require.
